The sommelier’s opinion
The “Macon Aze” (150ha/ about 370 acres) or its generic appellation “ White Burgundy”, belongs to one of the 25 villages and small towns of Maconnais which combine the name of the village with that of the appellation. The terroir is thus perfectly defined and produces a white wine characterized by its Burgundy inspiration, made from a world-renowned grape variety, Chardonnay.
